This is Why Getting Anyone Other Than Ryan Seacrest to M.C. Your Enormous Event is a Mistake [VIDEO]

Have you ever seen Ryan Seacrest announce the wrong winner on American Idol?  No you have not and you won't.  Steve Harvey however really blew this one. 

Yeah old Harvey spit the bit, he screwed the pooch, it all blew up in his face.

You can't announce that Miss Colombia won the Miss Universe pageant when Miss Philippines was the actual winner.  You could start an international incident.

Is that what you want Steve Harvey?  Do you want Colombia and the Philippines at war?  That could get ugly.  When you are dealing with these countries you have to understand that they are not like us.  They take every competition seriously.  We could care less who wins the Miss Universe pageant but in Colombia they were probably all set as a country to take a week off of work and celebrate this victory and you pulled the rug right out from underneath them.

The look on Harvey's face when he is obviously listening to the terrible news on his ear piece is priceless.  he all at once is trying to listen to it with all the noise, trying to make sure what he is hearing is real and then trying to wrap his head around what he has done all within seconds.  Oh and thanks for the heads up on not blaming the girls.  We were not going to because it is so obviously your fault.  Amazingly awkward television.  I wish I had seen it live.  He really wasted no time getting the hell off stage either.  Oh man.  So good.  My only question is is that the worst moment in beauty pageant history or is it this?
