This is the Ives Concert Park. It's a beautiful location. It's really nice to drink beer there. You've been hearing us all talk about CT on Tap. Well, the day has come. TODAY, I'm proud to say that we've put together something that's really fun to be a part of. I've been on a couple of brewery tours, and if you're lucky, you get to sample maybe 8-10 different types of beer. You go to a local liquor store, they may have a few beers that you can sample when the manufacturer is in town. Otherwise, you pay. Local bars? You could rack up $100 in a few hours trying different drafts. Our event? Tix are $35. There are going to be over 120 different beers to sample. I want to try an IPA, I want to try a stout, I want to try a few kinds of lager. Well, here's my, and your opportunity to do so-- Ives. Close to home. There's going to be music, and great food, WestConn is back in school, so there's going to be a diverse, cool crowd. From what I'm seeing, it's supposed to be nice out temperature-wise--mid 60's, perfect beer-buzz weather. Joey Esh told me today that the beer-makers are in the biggest tent that he's ever seen! So, it's covered. Please come out and have a great time with us, it'd be a lot cooler if you did....
