Yep....another complaint about the weather....

I used to be impervious to the snow and ice. I used to go outside, when it was 15 degrees, in my slippers, to get the mail. Now? I'm middle-aged. I hate the cold. I wear gloves on my hands, a hoodie, a face-mask if I'm going outside for longer than 10 minutes. I bought these things for your shoes called Stabilicers, they're removable snow-cleats, and they're awesome. I used to love when a big storm was forecast, I'd get psyched for getting snowed-in. Now? I watch the impending forecasts with dread. 2 inches of snow? NOOOOO!!!!!

I used to be invincible, now, I'm a homeowner, everything changed. Now I worry about shoveling my frigging roof so that an ice dam won't form. I worry about my driveway being salted, so the papergirl won't slip. I worry about my poor Chihuahuas, and how they haven't been outside on real grass in two months. (Plus I worry about my carpet, which is quickly being destroyed by said Chihuahuas). When did the Winter get so brutal? Polar Vortex, Nor'easterrrrrrr, POWER OUTAGES, delayed openings, pestilence, locusts...GAAAHHH! I'm sure our great-great grandparents are pointing and laughing at us...
