  • Gas prices are the lowest in seven years. The latest Lundberg survey shows the average price nationally is down 14 cents in the past two weeks. Regular now costs an average price of a dollar-91 a gallon. That's the lowest it's been since January of 2009.


  • Southwestern Connecticut is continuing to dig out from the weekend storm.The National Weather Service says Greenwich had the highest snowfall total at 16 inches and the rest of the county got about a foot. While the shoreline was hard hit, Danbury only saw around four inches and other spots just a dusting.


  • A Connecticut task force may vote to outlaw smoking in cars carrying children. Some legislators wonder if the law could be enforceable.


  • Time to take care of Fido. Dog Flu is rapidly spreading across the United States and the Canine Influenza H3N2 strain has affected over two-thousand dogs in at least 40 states.Pet owners are urged to immediately consult a veterinarian if their dog is experiencing any signs of Dog Flu.
