Okay so this morning, this storm headed our way for Monday and Tuesday just looked like a normal winter storm with heavy snow and possible Blizzard conditions.  Let's take the word "possible" out of the equation.

According to the National Weather Service, we now indeed have a Blizzard Warning in effect for our entire area in CT and NY State from 1pm tomorrow to Midnight Wednesday. This includes Fairfield, Litchfield, Westchester and Putnam Counties.

They are forecasting heavy wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour, and accumulations of 10-16 inches on Monday into the evening and even MORE on Tuesday.  Could we be looking at closer to a 2 foot snowstorm?  Time will tell.

Keep up to date on local area forecasts and school closings with Meteorologist Bill Jacquemin and our KICKS Storm Watch.

I can't wait to get the Jeep out and crank up the 4WD! ... I live for snow storms! ..  Of course, if you plan to do the same like me, be safe, but have fun!  :)
