They Don’t Make Em’ Like They Used To – The Yankees Are Retiring Numbers

The New York Yankees will be retiring three numbers this summer.  Andy Pettite's # 46, Bernie William's #51 and Jorge Posada's #20.

Now this officially marks the end of an era. I'm sad about this too. These guys are some of my favorite Yankees of all time. Each one of them was as clutch as can be in a big spot.

One of my favorite things about these guys is that they are all so different.

The temperament for each man is so different. Bernie was shy, Andy the workhorse and Jorge could not be angrier and more fiery. Every time there was a brawl, Jorge was at the center of it.
