There Is a Deeper Meaning to My Daughter Eating Her Mom’s Modeling Photo
My father-in-law, Miguel, went to his apartment in the Dominican Republic this past week. He came home with some of my wife's old modeling photos.
I showed my daughter, Vida, and she tried to eat them. Now, I know that is what kids do, but I feel like there may be some symbolism here that I am missing.
For instance, maybe she does not like the fact that her mama had a life before she was born? Maybe she thinks her mom looks good enough to eat? Maybe she was hungry? I think it's possible that there is a message I can pull from this. Maybe that's overthinking it, but whatever.
What I do know is I love this picture. I love these two pretty ladies, and I'm going keep this photo from here until forever. Next time I hand her a keepsake, I will for sure make sure she eats first.
