Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, and there are some great Classic Rock concerts coming through the area here at the beginning of the summer, including The Who, Steven Miller Band and Foreigner.

Get in the summertime mood this Thursday night at the Ridgefield Playhouse as Changes In Latitudes play the best of Jimmy Buffett.

Friday night, jam-band icons Blues Traveler hit the Playhouse.

Saturday night, New Jersey rockers The Smithereens bring their hit "A Girl Like You" and more power-pop classics to Daryl's House in Pawling.

Sunday, the Mohegan Sun Arena hosts The Who on their 50th Anniversary tour.

Into June we go with a couple of Classic Rock superstars at the Ridgefield Playhouse: Leon Russell on the 3rd and Roger McGuinn of the Byrds on the 12th.

Little Feat fans will be treated to an acoustic evening with Feat's Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett on the 4th of June at Daryl's House.

Also on the 12th, the Dave Matthews Band rock the Xfinity Theatre in Hartford.

The legendary Steve Miller Band hits the Oakdale in Wallingford on June 20th.

And Kid Rock and Foreigner bring a double bill of great music to the Xfinity Theatre on June 24th.
