The Ridgefield Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off Returns This Year
Attention all pumpkin growers! There is a pumpkin weigh off that will be happening later this month.
According to hamlethub.com, the Ridgefield Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off will take place on Sunday, Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Ballard Park. There are still some spots available for vendors.
They are looking for those with businesses that are agricultural, landscaping, or have a farmer's market stand. Crafters and artisans are also welcome to reserve space to sell products.
This is an event that brings pumpkin growers from all over the region to compete with their giant pumpkins for the largest pumpkin prize. They don't just have pumpkins though. Here is a list of what else will be there:

- Shack Food Truck
- The Natural Scoop Ice Cream Truck
