One of the most talked about delis in Westchester is close to opening a new deli in Pawling, NY.

Putnam's Daily Voice stopped by their Somers location to get the scoop. The deli has been owned by the Russo family, who are from Brewster, since 2011. Tony Russo told the Daily Voice:

Our number 1 thing is speed and quality.

Russo expects to open their new location in early April. Froggy's has become one of the most renowned delis in Westchester County because of that "speed and quality" thing.

Froggy's Deli scores a 4.5/5 on Yelp.com, deservedly so. Their signature sandwiches will get you every time.

Over the last year, I've stopped by two or three times to find out what the buzz was all about and find out I did. In the breakfast department, much to Mindy's displeasure, I tried the Heart Attack Breakfast Sandwich, which is three eggs, steak --  cooked to perfection by the way -- and cheese on a wedge. I couldn't finish it because Mindy grabbed it and finished it herself.

If you stop by Froggy's for lunch, I strongly recommend the Mama Russo Sandwich stuffed with fried eggplant, fresh mozzarella, and roasted red peppers along with a dab of oil & vinegar. Mama Mia, it's to die for -- no pun intended!

The new Froggy's coming to Pawling will be located at 31, Route 22, which is right on the Putnam/Dutchess border. I dare ya to finish the Froggy's Lawsuit Sandwich.
