The Inn at Newtown Closing Sunday

I've had many a fabulous meal at the Inn, as well as many great nights downstairs at Proud Mary's. Sad to see this local favorite go. You can help support the folks that work at the Inn At Newtown this week though. Here's how.

A longtime dining and entertainment favorite in Newtown is closing its doors for good. The Inn at Newtown has operated on Main Street for the last 17 years, and is serving its last dinners Sunday, Jan. 10. According to a notice on their website, The Inn at Newtown owners are trying to help the staff who are about to lose their jobs.

If you have the chance any time this week to head out somewhere to eat and drink, why don't you make The Inn the place you go. Since the owners will be using a portion of the sales from all this week to create a bonus pool to help the employees it would be a helpful sendoff.
