This is the second letter in as many weeks from the same lady but over the years we have received a lot of mail from prison inmates.

I guess it sort of makes sense.  I know that rules are different from one prison to another but I would imagine you don't have many entertainment outlets.  You can probably watch TV but in groups so you don't get to choose what you want.  From the mail we have received over the years I gather that these women are at least allowed their own radios.  So now their options for talk are down to FM morning shows and AM radio.  What strengthens our stronghold on the prison audience is the strength of our signal.  As anyone who lives around here that works in an old brick building or at a hospital can tell you we are the only station that comes in.  So we got that going for us...which is nice.

I've had people ask me questions about the content of these prison letters.  The fact is they are 99 percent positive.  They are always glowing reviews of the morning show.  They often thank us, they let us know how much they appreciate our work and help them pass the time.  That is always nice to hear.  There are the rare occasions where someone wants to threaten your life but that happens.  Hey it's not just prisoners that do that either.

We like mail no matter what.  We love the feedback so feel free to reach out in anyway.  And hey if you are ever locked up there are a lot of people inside who listen to us so you will have a lot of people to discuss the show with.
