If you've never experienced The Cast of Beatlemania and you're a big Beatles fan, you've been missing out. They recreate the sights and sounds of the Beatles all over the country. Their shows are spot on, note by note renditions of every Beatles song they cover, and there are usually at least three different costume changes throughout their show.

Most of the group are Connecticut homegrown -- Jim Filgate (George Harrison) grew up in Ridgefield -- and Lenie Colacino, who portrays Paul McCartney, was a part of the original Broadway production of Beatlemania.

The Cast of Beatlemania recently informed i95 of their plans to add a new dimension to their live shows and Beatles freaks will love it! Carlo Cantamessa, the talented musician who portrays John Lennon in The Cast, told me:

Our concept for 2017 is to add an 'After The Beatles' segment to the show, whether it's part of the 2nd act or maybe a prolonged encore. It would feature solo material from John, Paul, George and Ringo, thereby encompassing the entire catalog of The Beatles from the Fab Four days to the solo years.

We would hit the highlights, so to speak, focusing on the known songs, and we would do them in the same style and manner as we handle our regular show -- note for note and spot on renditions.

Our first attempt at all this music will be at The Ridgefield Playhouse on January 28, 2017. So, fans who have seen us before will be experiencing a show that we have never tried before, but a 'splendid time is guaranteed for all.'

Do you see what he did there, with that line from the "Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite"? Good stuff.

So there you have it, classic rockers. On Saturday, January 28, The Cast of Beatlemania steps out onto the Ridgefield Playhouse stage for an 8 PM show, where they will debut their new "After the Beatles" segment. Their show is close to being sold-out so purchase your tickets now at ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
