"Grilled Cheese" won the top spot in New York City's Vendy Awards over the weekend.

The Vendy's, held each year for the last 10, name the best "food trucks" in NYC. The top spot for both fans and judges went to the food truck, "Snowday," known for its "farm-to-truck fare" and especially their maple grilled cheese sandwiches. From an article in DNAinfo.com, Governors Island hosted the 10th Annual Vendy Awards this year.

The Vendy's are an annual street food competition that's spread from a small garage in the East Village to some huge open locations across the United States including Philadelphia and Los Angeles. They also serve as a fund raiser for the "Street Vendor Project," a non-profit organization that supports vendor's rights.
