Such a heartwarming story of a little girls perseverance. Here's more info.

On Saturday June 13 all around the country, kids and their parents will be setting up some 2,500 lemonade stands to raise money for childhood cancer research.

Liz and Jay Scott's daughter, Alexandra Scott, started the first Alex's Lemonade Stand before she died of neuroblastoma at age eight in 2004. Her mom - Liz Scott says the idea caught on and by the time Alex died the stands had raised more than one-million-dollars.

Then the Scotts partnered with Toys R Us, and the program has now raised more than $100 million.
