We had a great time this morning at the 8th annual Camping or Cans but I also felt a brand new vibe.  A vibe that led us to the hottest start in donations we have ever had.  I don't want to jinx us but I think it is true.

We had friends and family come out, we had huge corporate donations and listeners too.  We have to keep it going.  The truth is that this is one of the few times a year that we think about those in need.  It would be nice if we could reflect on their burden all year round but for one reason or another we don't.  I feel guilty about that and maybe you should too but the fact is just a few minutes and a few dollars right now could be the difference between these food banks running out and being able to do what they need to for the year.

Camping for Cans is in the Berkshire Shopping Center in Danbury, CT right now and all weekend.  Go meet "Willy the turkey.  He will be there starting today at 5pm.  If we do not meet out 10,000 dollar financial goal by Sunday afternoon then "Willy" will be dinner.

Do what you can.  .50 cents is a big deal if you multiply it by our listening audience.

If you care and you would like to hang with myself and Ethan Carey we will be there tomorrow morning from 8-11am and then Sunday from 1-4pm.  Thank you in advance for your donations and generosity.
