I started doing a series of my most memorable NFL moments weeks ago and now here are the top 10 from the 50 I chose.

#10 - Rex Ryan Sucks Toes

Rex Ryan loves to suck toes. When we learned of this, it was great fodder for shows like mine and we would never look at him the same. I know it should not even be on the list, but it's funny. I could not resist.

#9 - Brett Favre Retires

The tears. OH, SO MANY TEARS. Really tough to watch. Wipe your face man.

#8 - Marcus Allen Reverses Field

As a Raiders fan, I do not have a lot of great moments to cling to. In fact I was way too young to even enjoy this one when it happened, but I have seen it so many times I could emulate it with my eyes closed. Of course, at some point, I would trip and fall.

#7 - Lawrence Taylor Ends Joe Theisman's Career

This video is tough to watch if you are squeamish. I remember when this happened. I was just a kid, but it was big news because of the two players involved.  Joe Theisman was one of the marquee NFL quarterbacks at the time and Lawrence Taylor was the biggest star in the sport. LT revolutionized pro football, and of all of his many plays, this is probably the most memorable.

#6 - The Tuck Rule

He most certainly help up and it was a fumble and always will be. The Raiders ain’t been right since, man. I love my Raiders, and I just wanted to see how that game would have ended in the snow if they got it right.

#5 - The Catch - David Tyree

I could not believe my eyes when I saw this play. Eli Manning and David Tyree did the impossible. Not only that, but an amazing play by Mario Manningham on the same drive.  What a cool moment. The Giants slayed the mighty New England Patriots.

#4 - The Catch

January 10th, 1982. NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys. Dwight Clark makes an amazing catch in the back of the end zone from Joe Montana. The 49ers would go on to beat the Cincinnati Bengals 26-21 in Super Bowl 16. I was 3 at the time, so, I don’t remember it, but I have seen the play thousands of times in my life.

#3 - The Guarantee

Super Bowl 3, Jan 12, 1969. Ten years and change before I was born. Joe Namath guaranteed the New York Jets would beat the Baltimore Colts. Jets fans have never stopped talking about it.

#2 - The Immaculate Reception

This was before my time, but still hurts to see. This is another time the Raiders got hosed.  THAT BALL HIT THE GROUND!  The Raiders got screwed over by a bad camera angle.

#1 - Wide Right

The New York Giants beat the Buffalo Bills 20-19 in Super Bowl 21. Norwood was devastated. The Bills would go onto three more consecutive Super Bowl’s following that year, and lose all three. Bummer for them. If you are a sports fan, you need to see "The Four Falls of Buffalo” from the ESPN 30 for 30 series. Great TV.

There it is. I was gonna rank all 50 from 50 to 1, but I have a life. Enjoy the game.
