I have to say, I am pretty proud of myself. It took me about thirty minutes from the moment I took off the training wheels, to get these little guys up and running.

I remember when my dad taught me how to ride my bike without training wheels. I remember the feeling once I was going. It's freedom. The first feeling of it's kind. The next time you feel that free is when you get your driver's license.

The challenge for me is that I had to teach three little boys all at once. What I did not anticipate, however, is that their competitive nature would drive them to get it right as fast as possible. We are off to a good start with these guys. We have them upright on their bikes, they can swim, they do well in school, they can throw and catch a baseball correctly, and they attend church. Good stuff. Now, if I can get them to stop saying very inappropriate things on my radio show, that would be great.

I almost feel like I have done it all, but, then of course, there is high school, drivers' licenses, cars, girls, college. So, yeah, a long way to go, but we are getting somewhere.
