The HART transit system will provide trolley service to the farmers’ market on Saturdays in Danbury.

Something great in Danbury Connecticut just got better.

Hopefully you've taken advantage of the Danbury Farmers' Market in the past. This year, the market takes place on Saturdays starting June 25 and running to October 22, at Kennedy Park on Kennedy Avenue in Danbury. There is even free parking at the Charles A. Bardo parking garage on 10 Library Place.

If you prefer not to drive there, HART Transit, hartransit.com, is offering trolley service to the market. The trolley will run from 9:40 a.m. to 2 p.m., making pickups at Rogers Park, Park Avenue, West Wooster Street and Main Street, and dropping you off at the market.

The market features produce, shellfish, bread and specialty foods. The City Center Danbury Farmers' Market website also provides information about what's in season, vendors, coupons and more. You can also call 203-792-1711 for info.

For information about the trolley service call HARTransit at 203-744-4070 or visit hartransit.com
