Synchronized Swimming Could Be the Most Underrated Sport
Football, baseball and basketball. Those, to me, are the only true sports. The rest are games. But synchronized swimming has got my head in knots.
It's a delicate balance between ballet and swimming. There is water from a pretty pool spraying everywhere, while the limbs of very fit women are flying here and there. There's also a ton of touching. What is not to like?
My only problem, now, is what do I do once the Olympics are over? Where will I get my synchronized swimming fix? Do I need to wait another four years? Do they even compete outside the Olympics? Is there a 24 hour synchronized swimming channel that I am not hip to? I need to figure this out, because now that I am hooked on the swimming, I can't go back. I won't.
Huh. who knew they could hear the music under the water due to underwater speakers?
As much as I do like this sport, I gotta say that I'm not a big fan of those clamps they have on their nose. Not once in my life have I thought, "Sure that girl is hot, but I'd really be into her if she had her nosed pinched down by a clamp." I just don't envision myself ever saying that.
