Crashing into a DMV building during your driver's test could be a sure sign you might need some more practice.

As is the case on most days, a young student driver from Connecticut was looking forward to passing their driver's test today (April 3). Unfortunately, that most likely will be put on hold temporarily because the student driver crashed into the Waterbury DMV, According to a press release from the Connecticut State Police.

Reportedly, the driver attempted to back into a parking space at the Waterbury DMV and pressed on the gas pedal instead of the brake, crashing through the windows of the DMV's building.

There were two minor injuries reported inside the DMV but the driver and Waterbury DMV inspector were not hurt in the accident. The student driver was issued an infraction for Unsafe Backing. The good news is that the driver failed the driver's test and there was no interruption in DMV services.
