Did you notice the Connecticut State Police Helicopter over Danbury recently? This Holiday Season, State Police have vowed to do whatever it takes to keep you and your family safe on the roads.

In an effort to nab traffic violators, the Connecticut State Police have taken to the air in a coordinated enforcement effort with Troopers from the Departments Traffic Services Unit, Aviation Unit and Troop A to address aggressive driving complaints in the Danbury area on I-84.

Aviation units were recently called into action to patrol the area over I-84 in Danbury, and as a result of the one day effort cited 93 motor vehicles for various violations included speeding, failure to drive in the established lane, failure to wear seat belts, and several other license and registration violations.

This detail is part of the continued efforts of the Connecticut State Police to address aggressive driving on the highways during the holiday, so don't be surprised to see more Police helicopters over the area keeping an eye on you as you travel around.
