As the days get crossed off the calendar until the highly anticipated December 2015 release of "STAR WARS Episode VII - The Force Awakens" let's celebrate "National Star Wars Day" on May 4 with a video treat.

According to the origin story recognized by Lucasfilm, the phrase was first used on May 4, 1979, the day Margaret Thatcher took office as UK prime minister. The Conservative party allegedly placed an ad in the London Evening News which read, "May the Fourth Be With You, Maggie. Congratulations."

Thanks to the social media age we live in the phrase has taken off to the point that there are now events celebrating the day worldwide.

The magazine Vanity Fair is also getting into the spirit of things with an issue filled with new photos and revelations about December's "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." It hits stands on May 7. You can take a peek by clicking on VANITY FAIR.

Here's a treat I found to share with all of us #StarWars fanatics! It is, after all, a Jar Jar Binks World!
