Greetings from my vacation!  I have been enjoying some of the St. Paddy's activities in the area the last few days. Here are a few action shots from the various places I've been celebrating.

We'll start with Saturday's Paddy On the River over in Beacon NY.  I wasn't completely sure I was going to go to this because the weather was so nasty, but the event was completely tented and everyone stayed dry. The Guinness helped keep everyone warm.

Danbury's own Mighty Ploughboys had the crowd going with their rocked-up versions of great Irish songs!

On Sunday I decided I couldn't wait any longer for a corned beef sandwich so I headed down to the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center for a taste of Ireland.

I took Monday off to rest up for Tuesday, where it was back at the Irish Cultural Center to see what was going on.  As you might imagine they were pretty busy even mid-afternoon!

It was a quick stop home for some corned beef out of the crock pot, and then off to the Ethan and Lou live broadcast at Molly Darcy's. The place was packed and the Cunningham Brothers had everybody rockin'!

Luckily I have a little leftover corned beef (for now anyway.) Thanks to Jeff Zephyr for filling in this week and I'll talk to you on the air on Monday!
