The son of the missing couple from Easton is in the news again.

According to the Connecticut Post, Kyle Navin was indicted on Thursday. Navin, who is from Bridgeport, was arrested earlier this month when police found guns, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and traces of heroin at his house. That search happened in August.

The reason for the search was in connection with an ongoing investigation of the disappearance of his parents. Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin, who are from Easton, have not been seen since August 4.

Navin was indicted on one count of possession of a firearm by someone who is an unlawful user of and who is addicted to a controlled substance. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
