What's up in our world on this April 8th?

  • In Danbury Mayor Boughton is proposing a 238-million dollar budget, including 30-million dollars for infrastructure projects that include road paving, bridge repair, and school roof replacements. The budget calls for a more than 2% tax increase.
  • In Monroe voters yesterday rejected the proposed 84-million dollar budget sending it back to the drawing board.
  • Tickets on sale today for the new observation deck atop ONE WORLD TRADE CENTER. The deck, 100 floors above lower Manhattan, opens to the public on May 29th. You can get info and buy tickets by clicking  HERE
  • Get ready for a BRUTAL ALLERGY SEASON! Experts say the bitter Winter of 2015 is causing trees to pollinate later than usual meaning more pollen is getting released into the air at once. No wonder my sinus's are killing me!
