    McKinney & Doyle In Pawling

McKinney & Doyle is on 10 Charles Coleman Boulevard in Pawling and my wife says it's awesome. For some reason she goes to this fine dining establishment only with her girlfriends. Hmmmm, I wonder if she's got the hots for one of the waiters. Anyway, dishes recommended are the "Ultimate Grilled Cheese" with sliced pears, smoked bacon, and monterey jack cheese on homemade grilled cinnamon bread and the "Smokehouse Omelette," with cheese, bacon, peppers, onion, along with a side of potatoes and fresh fruit. They've won many awards for their wine list plus there's a bakery attached to the restaurant that features homemade pastries, danish, cookies, layer cake, etc. OMG!!

    Northern Smoke In Carmel

"Northern Smoke" is at 166 Stoneleigh Ave in Carmel, NY and is real bit barbecue cooked low n' slow with cherry and hickory. Everybody raves about their "sampler platter" with pulled pork, brisket, and barbecued ribs with mac n' cheese and sweet potato tots. Whatever you do, try one of the homemade barbecue sauces, especially the apple bourbon sauce. Northern Smoke received between 4 and 5 stars on every review I read!

    The Arch In Brewster

The Arch is a fine dining restaurant at 1292 Rt.22 in Brewster, NY. Fine dining means impeccable service and a sommelier(wine expert) and it also means classy and pricey. Reviews come in at close to 5's across the board. I've been to The Arch and must agree on the rave reviews! There are not too many restaurants with beef wellington on the menu, which was my choice for dinner and it was amazing! Zagat Review named The Arch one of the top restaurants outside of New York City. Other recommended dishes were the duck and the seared bay scallops. Do yourself a favor and save some room for dessert.
