Time to get really, really wet and wild.

I think this rates up there as the definition of wicked cool things to do.

Here comes Slide The City. What's that you ask? It's a 1,000-foot-long slip and slide, that's what, and it makes three stops in Connecticut this year. The first stop is Saturday, June 25 on Prospect Street in New Haven. This is the first year the slip and slide makes an appearance in New Haven, and it's bringing along a block party with live music, entertainment and local vendors.

While early bird registration is sold out, you can still buy tickets in advance, as well as on the day of the event. To pick up tickets, and get more info go to slidethecitynewhaven.com

If you can't make it on Saturday, or you are so psyched you need to do it more than once, no worries. Slide the City comes to Stamford on July 17.

Finally, the slide takes over Trinity and Ford Streets in Hartford on August 20. Tickets and info can be found at, you guessed it, slidethecityhartford.com.

Slide the City, it's all the rage!
