Author Catherine Hiller has been smoking marijuana every day for the last 50 years and she's definitely not a "burnout." Her new book is titled, "Just Say Yes, A Marijuana Memoir."Catherine told the Huffington Post that, "It was just wonderful. It allowed me access to certain thoughts and ideas that I hadn't had before."

In her new book she chronicles her pot smoking adventures and attempts to debunk what a stereotypical heavy user of cannabis is like.

Hiller's an activist, an author, a film maker and holds a doctorate from Brown University accomplishing more in her lifetime than many people who have never even tried pot. When Hiller was asked, "What happens when you smoke weed everyday for 50 years?"

She replies, "You just may turn out to be a respectably, successful mom and a very entertaining writer."

Marijuana is now legal for recreational use in four states and Washington D.C. In Alaska, adults 21 and older can now buy, transport, or possess up to an ounce of pot and six plants. Oregon approved a similar measure allowing adults to possess up to an ounce in public and 8 ounces in their homes.

That law will take effect on July 1st. Colorado and Washington state have already passed similar laws.
