16 Local Towns Rank Among ‘Safest Towns in Connecticut’, Report Says
When it comes to safe places, how does your hometown rate? Safewise.com recently published their report on Connecticut towns. There is a lot of good news here. First of all, four of the areas on this list reported no violent crimes at all! None! Twenty eight report no more than ten.
How do they choose the rankings? Safewise.com look at the FBI Crime Report and public information. The cities with less than 5,000 residents and any town without completed crime data sent to the FBI are eliminated. Areas that remain are then calculated against violent vs. property crimes.
Below is a look at the towns in our immediate area that made the list. Where does yours rank?
