It was a week ago that we heard about the man killed on Route 25 as he was working on Route 25 in Brookfield last Friday (October 19).

58-year-old Harold Trafton of Danbury was off-loading equipment onto Whisconier Road for the paving company that he worked for. Newstimes.com reports that he was struck by a car driven by Linda Pendergast of Brookfield. He was transported to Danbury Hospital where he died from his injuries.

An obituary at JowdyKaneFuneralHome.com states that he leaves behind his wife, Patricia, twins Jessica and James and another son, Daniel Szast. Harold Trafton also leaves two brothers, a sister, a sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.

The family of Harold Trafton will receive visitors at Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Avenue, Danbury from 11:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, Oct. 27. At the direction of his family, his burial will be private.
