I really don't like to whip out this phrase unless I absolutely have to, but Teaneck High School in Teaneck, New Jersey has given me no other option........back in my day in the 1960's, when dirt had just been invented and I was in high school, senior pranks never involved destroying school property or involved public urination. Here's the story.

Around 2am sometime last week, members of the senior class decided it was a good idea to break into their school, write graffiti on the walls, put petroleum jelly on the doorknobs and pee in the hallways.  62 students were arrested for criminal mischief. Maybe it's cool these days to have bragging rights for being arrested for doing stupid s%*#t but "back In my day" we put much more thought into our Senior Prank strategy. How bout the old VW Beetle displayed in the school courtyard.

There's nothing like sneaking a pig into school just in time for Math class. I'm trying not to come off as some old guy who's lecturing the "kids these days!" Maybe if these Teaneck High School seniors substituted the word "creative" for the word, "stupid" when brainstorming the next Senior Prank, everyone might be better served. Just sayin'!
