There appears to be a lot of pros and cons about this particular B&B venture in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Enough to warrant another public hearing.

We all know the old adage, "Not in my neighborhood." Only time will tell how this one plays out.

The Ridgefield Press first reported back in September about this local couples efforts to turn part of their home into a Bed and Breakfast. in a follow up story at theridgefieldpress.com, enough Ridgefield residents still want to have their say, either for or against what would be a change to a degree in the area.

Because more than 30 people still wanted to speak about the issue after the last meeting, the town Planning and Zoning Commission has scheduled a second public meeting. It will be held in the Ridgefield Town Hall Annex on Wednesday Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m.

When you read the story, you can certainly see the argument on both sides have valid points. In my mind, while what the couple proposes would honestly be fine with me if I lived there, I also see the potential for once you allow one neighbor to make the change. How many more could follow suit? Now that could certainly create an issue.
