Now, that's a race I could run! But, it doesn't come without controversy. Seems as if some people aren't happy.

Hundreds of runners are signing up for Europe's World Famous Wineathlon.

What's a Wineathlon you ask? It's a 10k race where runners are offered wine instead of water. There's wine stations every two miles and each will have wine from a different world region. This is right up my alley! Honestly I am NOT a runner in any way, shape or form, but dangle some wine in front of me, and I'll beat feet. However, when you think about what can happen at a wine tasting that's confined to one spot, you can sort of see why this article in BBC.com has some people opposed to the idea of drinking while running.

That said, if you want to check it out, and you're up for a road trip adventure and vacation, there are dates for the Wineathlon from August - October 2016. Locations : North Wales, Cambridge, Worcester, Yorkshire, Glasgow and Durham. CHEERS!
