Scheduled Road Closures for I-84 Connections to I-684

Each and every day in Danbury and Putnam County, people connect between Interstates 84 and 684.

Well it looks like some scheduled road closures will be happening over the next few weeks to accomidate road work in Brewster.

According to the Putnam Daily Voice, the ramp from Westbound 84 Exit 20 that connects to Southbound 684 towards White Plains, will be closed on the following days:

• Saturday July 25 from 9pm to 6am
• Sunday July 26
• Saturday August 1 from 9pm to 6am
• and Sunday August 2

People who regularly drive this way will have to use the 684 Northbound exit onto Route 22, and then use Exit 10 to get off in Brewster and get back on to 684 Southbound. With a lot of people using this detour, give yourself some extra time.
