Sandy Hook Teen Earns A Gold Ticket
Congrats to 17 year old Hayley Noelle Pettinato from Sandy Hook, CT who just earned a spot on the 13th season of "American Idol!"
Hayley, who's been a vocal training student for 10 years, performed in front of all three judges. JLO asked her to sing one more song during her audition, and then all three judges voted unanimously to send her to Hollywood! Hayley, who's a senior at Canterbury School in New Milford, has written six original songs with producer and songwriter Franki Vinci. One of those tunes, "Break Me" recently was crafted into a community service music video to promote awareness of teen-dating violence.
Hayley's a fan of Little Big Town, The Band Perry, Rascal Flatts, and Carrie Underwood and includes lead vocalist Gary Vox, from Rascal Flatts, as one of her main influences. Good luck Hayley! All of us here at The Home of Rock N' Roll are rootin' for ya!
