If you've never seen Salvador Dali's art in person, take the time this week to get to the New Britain Museum of American Art and check out Cycle of Life in Print: Salvador Dali. The exhibit is closing as of this Sunday June 26, 2016.

Mrs. Large and I were stunned at the work that is shown. I was particularly drawn to the Alice in Wonderland series. The exhibit features prints from the last three decades of Dali's life. Dali's signature melting clocks, elongated faces and animal legs are sprinkled throughout the gallery in the work. Photography was strictly prohibited, but I was allowed to snap a couple of the pics you see above.

The museum is beautiful, the grounds are immaculate, and the artwork on display is breathtaking. Here are a couple of pieces that really blew me away.

The painting you see above is incredible. It's entitled The Cycle of Terror and Tragedy: September 11, 2001 by Graydon Parrish. It's an incredible piece of art that my iPhone camera crudely captured. You must see it in person.

The New Britain Museum of American Art is located at 56 Lexington Street, right off of I-84 and RT.72 in New Britain. It's a great, local museum that offers a world class experience.
