According to the News-Times, after trying the delicious smoothies and juices at Robeks in Fairfield, local real estate developer, Mark Henriques and his wife Patricia, and their partner Pat Kovac decided the time was right to open a Robeks in Danbury located at 109 Federal Road.

The bottom line: healthy food and beverages don't have to taste like tree bark to be good for the body. I'm talking shakes made from fresh fruits like strawberries, bananas, blueberries, etc.

Robeks offers a wide variety of healthy delicious offerings from fresh fruit smoothies to wheat grass shots to performance drinks, along with a fresh fruit and vegetable bar where you can choose your own ingredients.

They also offer an excellent selection of boosters for $.25, like fat burners, energizers, probiotics, multivitamins, and immune support. They've just signed on as a sponsor for the Newtown Youth and Family Services's 10th annual Road Race and Kid's Run that take's place in September where you'll be able to sample some of their products.

If you've got a "million" things on your to-do list and don't have time to make your own smoothie, Robeks is the solution!
