  • Connecticut mournsTwo Colgate University students from Ridgefield are dead following a small plane crash in upstate New York. Officials say Cathryn Depuy and Ryan Adams died after the plane they were riding in crashed after takeoff.  It happened about 1 p.m. Sunday. The FAA is investigating.
  • Central Connecticut State University students are being told to keep their loud parties down.  CCSU's Student Government Association says they've launched a new campaign called "Be a Good Neighbor" to remind students to pipe down.
  • Skype is very quiet this morning. The video chat platform is having a lot of problems. Users across the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Europe say they're having trouble logging on, carrying on conversations, and sending messages, and more. Skype engineers say in a blog post that they're doing everything they can to fix the problems.
  • One mother is defending her decision to charge her 13-year-old son over $700 for rent and utilities. Estella Havisham told CBS News that she decided to write her son a letter saying he can start paying his own way after he insulted her for not being able to work.
