Colorful New England foliage, a vintage railroad car or trolley, and a pumpkin patch for good measure. Here's a great Fall adventure in Connecticut.

This is such a cool thing to do with your kids. Frankly adults will love it too, but you can use your kids as an excuse to go!

It's time once again for the Dambury Railway Museum to present the Pumpkin Patch Train starting up this weekend. Here's the details.

This annual family event happens on Oct. 14 & 15, Oct. 21 & 22, and Oct. 28 & 29. Saturdays it runs from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sundays it's noon - 4 p.m. The info from the danburyrailwaymuseum.org saya that the trains will leave hourly starting a half an hour after opening each day, with the last train departing at 3:30 p.m. Admission is $12 with children under 2 years old riding for free. And since it's Halloween season, kids are invited to come in costume.

No reservations required. Event will be held rain or shine.
Call the Museum at 203.778.8337 for more info.

The Danbury Railway Museum is located at 120 White Street in Danbury, and is a nonprofit organization. It really is one of Danbury's great exhibits, with a large collection housed in and around Danbury’s former Union Station.
