Well, shut my mouth and call me a Nutmegger.

A report by USAToday.com, which was just published last Friday (October 13) has named Danbury, Connecticut as one of America's best cities to live in. In fact, it is the only city in Connecticut to make the list!

There are a lot of variables that makes an area a desirable place to live. Low crime, good shopping, great schools, outstanding nightlife, etc. When you think about all of the cities in the nation, it is pretty impressive that Danbury came in at number 34.

Just how did our fair city of Danbury, CT make the cut? Although it is one of the priciest areas in the United States to put down roots, Danbury's assets to residents are tough to beat with more fine dining, sports teams and theatres than many other cities across the country. Plus, for the outdoorsy types, there are many places to golf, hike and just enjoy nature.
