On Wednesday May 13, at the Ridgefield Playhouse, esteemed actor, Joe Pantoliano (Joey Pants) makes his documentary directorial debut with "No Kidding! Me 2!" as part of his fight against the stigma and shame of mental illness. A Q&A with Joe will take place after the film.

Joe has starred in the Sopranos, Memento, The Matrix, The Goonies, Midnight Run, and several others. This empowering film sheds light on what 100 million Americans, like Joe, suffer from in isolation.

The documentary includes interviews with Joe and his family on their struggle with his own clinical depression. The film also features a brain surgeon with bi-polar disorder along with three high school students managing bi-polar disorder and clinical depression.

Here's the trailer for his documentary:

Joe says that this documentary was made to help "Stop the Stigma" as those impacted by mental illness are surprised to find millions of others, like themselves, saying, "No Kidding! Me2!"
