  • McDonald's says it will start offering all-day breakfast nationwide starting October 6th. Lovers of the Mickey D's breakfast have been pushing for years for them to sell breakfast items beyond the 10:30 a.m. cutoff.
  • Not a distinction we want. Hartford is currently number-one in New England for the most homicides for 2015. The city even beat Boston which has a largerpopulation. There have been 24 homicides so far this year in Hartford,compared to 19 for all of last year. Boston currently has 23, followed by Springfield, Massachusetts with 14.
  • Not good guy! The developer building the 56-million-dollar Yard Goats baseball stadium in Hartford says they are dealing with four-million-dollars in cost overruns. Centerplan says they have been making many small cuts to the construction budget because of the overruns. The news of the rising costs came yesterday as city officials held a ceremony marking the installation of the stadium's first steel beam.
  • A hall of fame professional wrestler is facing murder charges in the death of his girlfriend over 30 years ago. Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka was arraigned yesterday in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Nancy Argentino died in 1983 after Snuka called an ambulance to their hotel room. A coroner determined she'd suffered a brain injury caused by her head being slammed into a hard object, and ruled the death suspicious.
