Quick- how many Rockers can you name that had #1 hits with not one, but two legendary bands? It's a very short list, and Randy Bachman is a very prominent name on it. Randy brings his decades of Rock classics to the Ridgefield Playhouse this Friday night.

Bachman founded the Guess Who in the early 1960's in Canada.  Their first hit was a song called "Shakin' All Over" with original singer Chad Allan.  After Burton Cummings replaced Allan, the Guess Who had a ton of legendary singles including "These Eyes," "Laughing," "No Time," "No Sugar Tonight" and their #1 single "American Woman."

After leaving the Guess Who, Bachman founded Bachman-Turner Overdrive and the hits continued to roll: "Takin' Care of Business," "Let It Ride," "Hey You,"  "Roll On Down the Highway" and another #1 with "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet."

Bachman has continued to tour and record, including with reunited lineups of both the Guess Who and BTO. His newest CD, "Heavy Blues" was just released and features collaborations with Neil Young, Robert Randolph, the late Jeff Healey and Peter Frampton, among others.

Randy hits the Ridgefield Playhouse this Friday night for an 8PM show.  Tickets are going fast and are available here.
