The price to fill up your car continues to drop as we inch towards the Labor Day weekend. The price for a barrel of crude is down to $40.46.

The national average for a gallon of gas is at $2.46 and the average per gallon price in Connecticut is $2.58. According to Connecticutgasprices.com, here are some of the lowest prices at stations in the greater Danbury area:
