Tomorrow, April 28th will mark 18 days until the 2nd Annual Brews & Barbecue Festival at the Ives Concert Park in Danbury. It's never too early to pre-game for an amazing event like this, so let me guide you!Click this link for the official list of participating "Barbecue Vendors" for this year's festival.

First up, one of our main sponsors of "Brews and Barbecue" this year, Bill Brunetti and his gang at "Hog Wild Barbecue" in Newtown! John from Fairfield CT says it all!!

“Your food is amazing. I’m so glad we chose the best, and I am from Texas!”
John – Fairfield, CT

From pulled pork to pulled chicken, beef brisket to homemade salads, if you've been to an I-95 festival, you most likely have already experienced the lusciousness of "Hog Wild Barbecue."

Out of Newburgh, New York, we welcome Pitmaster Ed Roland and his company titled, "Handsome Devil Barbecue." Ed Roland and his wife, Rebecca began their barbecue dream in January of 2012 and haven't looked back. Check out Ed's motto:

"I believe that good barbecue needs sides the way good blues need rhythm, and that there is only one rule: Serve whatever you like, but whatever you serve, make it fresh.”
I believe that if you don’t make a mess when you’re eating, then you are not doing it right."

From their St. Louis Ribs to their pulled pork and brisket, make Handsome Devil Barbecue  a must stop at the I-95 Brews & Barbecue Festival!

Even though Mima's Meatballs & More on Mill Plain Road in Danbury doesn't serve up barbecue, we had to let 'em in because of the tantalizing deliciousness of their flavored homemade meatballs!! From their turkey meatballs to their vegetarian and meatloaf meatballs with your choice of their homemade sauces, make sure to stop by on your gastronomical adventure at Brews & Barbecue on May 16th!

In our next episode later this week, we'll take an up close look at "Northern Smoke Barbecue" in Carmel, NY, "The Cookhouse" in New Milford, and "The Spot" in Bethel. In the meantime, stop by I95rock.com to buy your Brews & Barbecue Fest tickets in advance. They're on $15 and your first beer's on us!!
