This is why you don't drive 81 mph in a 55 mph zone when you're allegedly carrying guns and pot.

According to a press release from the Connecticut State Police, troopers pulled over the driver of a Ford Explorer containing passengers Robert Ruiz and Hector Martinez, both of Springfield, MA, as they were driving a Ford Explorer on I-84 near exit 2 on Sunday (March 18) for what they say was a routine speeding violation. As they rolled down their window, troopers say that the unmistakable odor of marijuana permeated the car.

That's when the state troopers called on a K-9 officer named Favor to search the car. What he reportedly came up with were some marijuana "blunts", a small bag of weed, and three firearms. One of those firearms was said to have had the serial number scratched off.
