Police: Body Found Near Bleachers at High School in Connecticut
A person was walking the track at Plainville High School early Saturday afternoon and was shocked to discover a body lying near the bleachers.
The person that discovered the body promptly called 911. According to NBC Connecticut, the death does not seem to be a result of foul play, and there is no danger to the public. An autopsy is being done to determine cause of death.
Police have not released the identity of the person that was found dead, except to say that it was an adult female and not school aged. They issued the following statement on their Facebook page:
This is to put everybody's mind at ease.
The police department is investigating the death of an adult that occurred at Plainville High School.
The death is not suspicious, and the public is not in danger.
There is no other information at this time.
