The first Ethan and Lou poker night was last night at my house, and it was a big hit. Had we played for money, my pockets would be fat right now. I was running the table like a boss. Of course, we only played about 10 hands. Ethan learned to play Texas Hold em', Large Dave was a big fan of Erica's chili, Joey Ech brought far too much booze as usual, and Ethan's giant handle of Jack disappeared.

Most of the time was spent talking about ESPN, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and our preferences in the female form. To say it was a good time would be an understatement. Now, we are tasked with doing it again. There is the problem. You see, there can be only one first time, and most second, third and fourth times are spent trying to replicate the first time, as sex addicts can attest to.

We will have a larger group next time, the intimacy will be lost, and most likely, stories will be told about the first time. That leaves people out who were not there the first time, and leads to awkward silences. Good thing we will be good and liquored up.
