The world's oldest profession has learned a few new tricks. See what I did there?

The days of seedy motel room rendezvous are apparently over. Now, prostitutes and their pimps are turning to your rental apartment for a new way to dodge authorities.

According to the NY Post, Sweden is having a problem with the ladies of the night and their Johns renting people's homes and apartments for their deeds. It's just a matter of time before this is a huge problem here in the states, if it is not already. Now, who's fault is that? Well, it is your fault, that's who. You, who thought that AirBNB was a good idea. I said from day 1 this business would be a problem, and now, we read a new nightmare story everyday. People coming home to trashed apartments, renters who won't leave after their time is up, and, of course, stolen furniture.

What could go wrong? That is what I heard from so many people. Well, how would you like to come home to find a hooker where you lay your head at night? Sound good? Listen, I am all for advances in technology, and many of them make life so much easier. Not all of them do, however. Some are riddled with potential loopholes that increase crime and, in many cases, general stupidity. So, before you jump at the chance to try the next technological fad, step back and think about how the lowest common denominator human being might try and take advantage of it.
